Embracing the Change: Food, Fibre & Nature
Wilmot Field Day celebrated its seventh year in February 2025. The nation’s premier on-farm field day attracted over 400 producers and industry experts from around the world, to collectively embrace change.
The event connected Australian and international change-makers, who shared how the agricultural industry is implementing climate-smart practices and using natural capital to build resilient businesses.
Program highlights
Headline speaker at Wilmot Field Day 2025, US rancher Gabe Brown, is one of the pioneers of the global soil health movement, which focuses on the regeneration of natural resources as a foundation for productive and sustainable agriculture. Gabe shared his family’s regenerative agricultural journey.

Event charity partner
The Wilmot Field Day charity partner for 2025 was BackTrack, an organisation changing the lives of young people in the New England region.
BackTrack participants treated event attendees to a display of their dog handling, skills (and tricks) gained through their time in the program.
